Obiettivi formativi
Il Laboratorio, fornendo gli strumenti essenziali per comprendere, gestire e modellare le relazioni commerciali tra Europa e Cina, contribuisce alla formazione di competenze utili in particolare agli studenti e alle studentesse dei profili China and Global Studies e Studi Europei.
The Laboratory, providing an overview of the essential elements for understanding, managing and shaping business relations across Europe and China, contributes to the development of skills that are particularly useful for students involved in the China and Global Studies and European Studies profiles.

Risultati dell'apprendimento attesi
Alla fine del corso gli studenti e le studentesse saranno in grado di:
- Comprendere i principali trend economici, finanziari, demografici, legali e tecnologici della Cina contemporanea e il loro impatto globale, con particolare riferimento all’Europa;
- Applicare il concetto di “caratteristiche cinesi” a termini politici, finanziari, legali e commerciali;
- Analizzare i principali indicatori economici e commerciali cinesi in maniera critica, identificando quelli di maggiore rilevanza;
- Avere i corretti riflessi nel valutare le opportunità commerciali sull’asse geografico Cina-Europa;
- Valutare i rischi (nonchè le relative misure di protezione) e le opportunità esistenti nelle principali industrie, settori e geografie.
By the end of the course students will be able to:
- Understand the main economic, financial, demographic, legal and technological trends of contemporary China and their global impact, with a particular focus on Europe;
- Apply the concept of “Chinese characteristics” to political, financial, legal and commercial terms and concepts;
- Analyse Chinese economic and commercial data critically, by identifying the most reliable indicators;
- Have the correct reflexes when evaluating business opportunities along the China-Europe axis;
- Evaluate the risks (as well as the relevant mitigating measures) and opportunities created in each industry, sector and geography by China’s development path.

Modalità di insegnamento
In considerazione delle limitazioni imposte dall'attuale emergenza sanitaria il laboratorio si svolgerà a distanza attraverso lezioni tenute online. Le lezioni saranno strutturate in modo da coinvolgere gli studenti e le studentesse, ci saranno dunque discussioni guidate, analisi di casi studio, attività interattive e lavori di gruppo.
Il laboratorio inizierà il 12 marzo 2021 si svolgerà il venerdì dalle ore 15.00 alle ore 18.00, per un totale di sei incontri. Maggiori informazioni su date, orari e link di accesso alla piattaforma Webex sono consultabili alla voce "Note".
Due to limitations imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the laboratory will be taught on-line during the regular class hours and structured so as to stimulate the active involvement of students. It will include guided discussions, case studies' analysis, interactive contents, and team assignments.
The Laboratory will start on March 12th and run on Friday from 3PM to 6PM, for a total of six sessions. More information on the laboratory's timetable and Webex links are available on the "Note" field.
