12 streaming lectures of 3h each. Materials and links to webex will be uploaded on the moodle page of the course.
Students enrolled can download a study-version of STATA 16 for practice.
The course will start on April 8th and will end on May 14th. It will be held on Thur and Fri, 2-5pm.
Possible changes in the schedule will be communicated through the Moodle platform.

Basic quantitative tools for analysis of data: theory (Econometrics) and practice (STATA)
Application of econometric tools to development economics.
In particular, the following topics will be covered:
- Data management and basic statistics in STATA
- OLS: introduction, assumptions & applications
- Causal inference, difference-in-differences & programme evaluation
- Instrumental Variables
- Analysis of panel data (an introduction)
- Introduction to non-linear models
