Il laboratorio è libero da anno. Tuttavia, si consiglia la partecipazione a student* che abbiano già sostenuto un esame di sociologia generale e di metodologia della ricerca sociale.


The workshop can be attendended by students of the three years. However, students are suggested to enrole the workshop if the have already taken the exams of Sociology and of Methodology of social research.

Il Laboratorio è finalizzato a far conoscere a* student* le prospettive costruttiviste e performative per l'analisi di genere e sessualità. Inoltre, il Laboratorio mira a favorire ne* student*:
1. la capacità di applicare le conoscenze acquisite, grazie a elementi di apprendimento relativi alla ricerca e alla metodologia.
2. la capacità di sviluppare una riflessione critica.


The workshop is aimed atfintroducing students to the constructivist and performative perpectives in the field of gender and sexuality.
Moreover, it will develop practical knowledges and critical thinking skills.

Risultati dell'apprendimento attesi

Ogni student * deve saper dimostrare: 1) di aver appreso e di saper confrontare le prospettive teoriche e gli strumenti concettuali presentati; 2) di saper argomentare, con giudizi autonomi, le idee e i problemi discussi nel corso degli incontri; 3) di aver sviluppato sensibilità metodologica, capacità critica e un approccio autoriflessivo ai temi del genere e della sessualità.

Students should be able 1) to know and compare theoretical perspectives and conceptual  tools 2) to discuss autonomously and critically the different ideas and contributions, 3) to display self-reflexive ability and methodological sensitivity for the analysis of gender and sexuality.

Modalità di insegnamento

Il laboratorio prevede lezioni seminariali in cui gli studenti saranno invitati a leggere dei testi e discutere dei casi empirici sotto la guida del docente.

Il laboratorio si strutturerà in 6 incontri di 3 ore a cadenza settimanale. Dopo aver introdotto nel primo incontro le principali prospettive di analisi di genere e sessualità, i successivi 5 incontri saranno dedicati alla presentazione e discussione di casi empirici in modo collegiale o sotto la guida de* student* partecipanti divisi in gruppi.

Se non sarà possibile avere lezione in presenza fisica, gli incontri si terranno in interazione online live sulla piattaforma webex, e il materiale didattico verrà caricato nel materiale didattico della pagina web dell'insegnamento e sulla piattaforma moodle.


The workshop requires the active participation of students who will be invited to read some texts and to discuss empirical cases under the teacher's supervision.

The workshop is articulated into 6 meetings of three hours, once a week. The first meeting will introduce the main perspectives to analyse gender and sexuality. The following 5 meetings will be focused on the presentation and discussion of empirical cases among the whole class-group or in subgroups dividing the attending students.

If it is not possible to have lessons in physical presence, the meetings will be held in live online interaction on the webex platform, and the teaching material will be uploaded to the teaching web page and on the moodle platform.

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento

L'apprendimento di conoscenze e capacità di analisi e di elaborazione critica del temi proposti sarà verificata attraverso le presentazioni e discussioni in aula e attraverso la valutazione di una relazione finale scritta di 3000 parole da consegnare al docente.


The acquisition of knowledges and skills in the analysis and critical processing of the proposed issues will be verified through the presentations and discussions in the classroom and through the evaluation of a final written (individual or group) report of 3000 words .

Oltre agli incontri settimanali,  a* student*, organizzati in gruppi, è offerta la possibilità di incontrare la docente fissando un appuntamento in orario di ricevimento.


Beyond the weekly meeting, students in subgroups will be invited to discuss with the teacher in the office hours devoted to tutoring students.

Il laboratorio analizzerà i processi di costruzione di genere e sessualità, con una particolare attenzione ai seguenti temi:

- la costruzione performativa di femminilità e maschilità

- copioni sessuali

- performance di genere e reputazione sessuale  

- intersezionalità

- eteronormatività e omonormatività 

 

The workshop will analyze the processes of gender and sexuality construction, with particular attention to the following topics:

- the performative construction of femininity and masculinity

- sexual scripts

- gender performance and sexual reputation  

- intersectionality

- heteronormativity and homonormativity.

Note

La programmazione delle lezioni potrebbe subire adattamenti e modifiche in base alla situazione Covid19.

Stando all'attuale definizione degli orari (settembre 2020), le lezioni si terranno nel secondo semestre, a partire da fine febbraio 2021, il giovedì e venerdi dalle 14 alle 17. Seguiranno indicazioni più dettagliate sulle modalità didattiche, se in presenza fisica, in live streaming e/o con lezioni video-audio pre-registrate.

Il laboratorio è a numero chiuso, limitato a 30 student*, al fine di poter permettere una didattica partecipativa di tipo seminariale. Le iscrizioni al laboratorio si apriranno tra gennaio e febbraio 2021 e si chiuderanno prima dell'apertura del laboratorio.

Il laboratorio richiede una partecipazione attiva alle attività proposte, attraverso la lettura e presentazione in gruppi di un saggio, che è stato assegnato secondo la distribuzione in ordine alfabetico che si trova in allegato (i saggi sono tuti scaricabili dal materiale didattico).

Ogni gruppo dovrà presentare il saggio e discuterlo con la classe, secondo un calendario concordato. 

The laboratory is limited to 30 students, in order to allow a participatory teaching type seminar. Registration for the laboratory will open between January and February 2021 and will close before the opening of the laboratory.

The lesson schedules are available at the following link: https://www.didattica-cps.unito.it/do/home.pl/View?doc=orario_lezioni.html. The laboratory requires an active participation in the proposed activities, through the reading and presentation in groups of an essay, which has been assigned according to the alphabetical distribution that is attached (the essays are all downloadable from the teaching material).

Each group should present the essay and discuss it with the class, according to an agreed schedule.
