Obiettivi formativi
Il Laboratorio di Antropologia museale fornisce un percorso formativo relativo alle pratiche e alle riflessioni teoriche della museologia etnografica e dell’antropologia museale. Nell’ambito dell’offerta didattica del Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Antropologia culturale ed etnologia, questo Laboratorio approfondisce i temi, i metodi e le problematiche di un settore specifico – quello dei musei - che costituisce uno degli sbocchi professionali delle discipline demoetnoantropologiche.
The Museum Anthropology workshop offers a training on practices and theories related to ethnographic museology and museum anthropology. Among the proposals of the Master course in Anthropology and Ethnography, this workshop adresses topics, methods and problems of a specific sector – the one of museums – that offers a professional outcome of ethno-anthropological disciplines.

- Acquisizione di conoscenze relative alla storia dei musei etnografici e antropologici, alle problematiche teoriche ad essi connesse e alle prospettive che animano il dibattito internazionale.
- Acquisizione di metodologie relative alle pratiche museali (ricerca, catalogazione, esposizione e allestimenti, comunicazione, partecipazione).
- Acquisizione di un approccio critico e riflessivo relativo alle pratiche e alle narrazioni museali, nonché alle concezioni di patrimonio culturale e ai processi di patrimonializzazione
- Acquisition of knowledge on the history of ethnographic and anthropological museums, on the related theories and on the perspectives of the contemporary international debate.
- Acquisition of methods on museum practices (research, catalogation, exhibition, communication, participation).
- Acquisition of a critical and reflexive approach on museum practices and narrations, on cultural heritage conceptions and on processes of heritagisation.

Programma
Il laboratorio consiste in 6 incontri di tre ore svolti con un numero limitato di studenti e studentesse (massimo 25). In caso il numero di richieste fosse superiore si procederà a una selezione sulla base di una lettera motivazionale e del CV accademico. Dopo aver affrontato aspetti fondamentali della pratica museologica in antropologia, le studentesse e gli studenti, suddivisi in piccoli gruppi, elaboreranno un progetto espositivo relativo a un corpus di oggetti da loro individuati nelle collezioni del Museo di Antropologia ed Etnografia dell'Università di Torino (MAET) e/o in altre collezioni pubbliche. Il laboratorio costituisce anche una formazione propedeutica a chi volesse successivamente svolgere un tirocinio formativo presso il MAET.
The workshop consists in 6 meetings of three hours each, open to a limited number of students (maximum 25). In case applications will exceed this number, a selection will be made on the basis of a motivation letter and on the academic CV. After dealing with fundamental aspects of museological practice in anthropology, the students, divided into small groups, will develop an exhibition project on a corpus of objects they have identified in the collections of the Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography of the University of Turin (MAET) and/or in other public collections. The workshop offers a preliminary formation to students who wish to carry out an internship at the Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography of the University of Turin.

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
La modalità di verifica prevede la presentazione in aula e la successiva consegna del progetto espositivo elaborato in gruppo. Ciascuno/a studente/studentessa dovrà identificare il proprio ruolo specifico all'interno del gruppo e presentare il proprio contributo individuale in una relazione finale.
Evaluation will be based on a classroom presentation and subsequent handing in of the exhibition project developed in the group. Each student must identify his or her specific role within the group and present his or her individual final report.
