The objective of this course is to present and analyse:
the characteristics of the pharmaceutical industry;
the impact of the financialization of big pharma;
the history and role of patents on molecules;
the consequences of TRIPS in terms of access and price;
the production model of drugs and vaccines;
the drug policies conducted mainly in Europe.
